FAQ

Do you do commissions?

Yes, please email me at [email protected] or by clicking the airplane at the bottom of each page. Since painting is not my full time job I can only take one commission at a time. Upon receipt of your email I will add you to a queue and let you know about when I'll start your piece and specific questions about your commission. For commissions I ask for half the payment upfront and half when the painting is completed.

What do you need for pet portraits?

Each pet is unique and has stories that are near and dear to your heart, so for each pet portrait I will request that you fill out a short questionnaire about the pet so I can understand the personality of the pet being painted. A good photo of the pet is needed that shows the true coloration of your loved one with good lighting. If you can't find a single good picture sending a couple pictures can help showcase your pet. Pet portraits can contain one or multiple pets.

Do you work from photographs?

Most of my paintings come from an inspirational image, however some of the abstract or surreal paintings come purely from my imagination. If it is a landscape painting the photographic reference is taken by the artist while out adventuring. If it is a portrait or pet portrait the photo is provided by the client or taken by the artist.

How do I purchase your artwork?

Please email me at [email protected] or by clicking the airplane at the bottom of each page. Currently, I am only able to sell paintings but I am exploring selling prints in the future.

How much does your artwork cost?

Each piece is unique based on size and complexity of the image. As a general rule each painting is priced based on the size of the painting first with complexity factored in. For commissions prices will be negotiated upfront and agreed upon prior to any work being done. For existing pieces please send me an email at [email protected] or by clicking the airplane at the bottom of each page.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are determined by the size of the piece and the destination of the piece (including international). Shipping costs will be included in the final payment for the artwork. Each piece is insured and will require a signature confirmation to ensure it gets to you safely. Artwork will be mailed from Fort Collins, CO. Once artwork is packaged and shipped a tracking number will be provided to you. Shipping times will vary depending upon the type of shipment requested.

What is your return and refund policy?

Each piece that I work on is a labor of love, therefore I strive to ensure that my work meets your satisfaction. I try my best to accurately showcase my work for sale, however sometimes paintings do not translate the same on screen. For any non-commissioned piece of work I will gladly accept any returns and issue a refund for the cost of the painting within 30 days of receiving the painting, shipping will be at the cost of the customer. For any commissioned pieces, all sales are final. Please reach out to me for further information.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

If your artwork arrives damaged please take detailed photos of the damage so I can issue an insurance claim at the shipping agency.
